Lord Jesus
Your word says that You scan the earth to find one who is faithful and We are sisters and brothers in Christ who stand in the gap for our families and friends and friends of friends. God when one of us suffers we all suffer together, for we are all members of one body. United through your blood that was shed on Calvary’s cross. Lord we need your Holy Spirit empowerment to go out and do the work that you have called us to do. Fill us anew with compassion for the sick,and injured people in our lives. Especially those who need to come to know you. We come before your throne of grace Thankyou that we can come boldly knowing that we will have what we ask for because we ask rightly in Jesus name. Lord heal our friends and families , deliver them all from all injury and infirmaries. Quicken their spirits with your spirit. Prepare them to receive answers to their prayers and fill the path they walk on with God moments and heavenly visions to keep them following you Lord. Strengthen them again to walk with you and sup with you.
We also lift up our children and grandchildren to you, you know what they are going through. The trials they each must face at school, and on the play grounds and at home. As well as spiritual battles that must be fought on so many different levels. There are so many complicated issues facing us and our loved ones. We long to see each one of them living fully surrendered lives, preparing for the life that you have chosen for them. One lived with wonder and awe and power and grace. Where the fruit of the spirit resides deep within their hearts giving them a quiet confidence that they can do all things through Christ who gives them strength. Help us to walk/work out our Salvation with a right fear and trembling of what an awesome, wonderful,powerful, righteous Judge and King you are. We ask you to go before us as we suit up with our Ephesians 6:10-18 Armor. Prepare the way that we should walk in we pray in Jesus name Amen
